Remote dont function/need longer hose

I need a longer hose as long as possible. Also the remote power on an off only works if your next to the device. Seems the computer system inside the device is confused theres so many options on it. Is there a way to get a hose extension to slide it accross the entire upstairs so im not modifying multiple windows?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This Air conditioner is awesome.. So much colder than my older model from LG, cools off my bachelor apartment quick and was easy to remove from the packaging. Easy to set up as well
I would recommend this to a friend!
