Amazing so far!!

Cools off half of my 3 bedroom apartment (kitchen/living room, and part of the hall way) with no issues. Much quieter than my 12000 BTU LG portable AC, which barely cooled off a small living room on full blast. Sold the portable, got this one, and no regrets at all. 2 of these combined (One in room and one where I currently have it in living room) would be much more efficient than my portable one and would probably do a much better job at keeping it cool.
I’m going to purchase another one for my other rooms and hope I have similar results.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Its plug does nt work ,keep on dropping .Worst product ever bought from danby.

I got it just over a week ago and have to return it. Was working great and cooled the place down. Then all of a sudden it started making a loud banging noise. I turned it off and turned it on same thing. So, I have to return it and it took along time to get it delivered very sad and disappointed, not sure if its this one or the make and model.

After reading a couple of negative reviews, I wasn't confident about buying this window AC. After installing it in my 10' x 16' bedroom however, I had few worries.
For a room of this size, the Danby 6000 BTUs works just fine. The installation directions are clear and user-friendly, the remote seems to be decent, and noise is not a significant issue. The additional extensions - to fill a wider window space - are well-designed and attractive-looking.
For the price, this Danby delivers what it's supposed to.
I would recommend this to a friend!
