Like many of the reviewers here, I feel this unit wasn’t put together well. The loud compressor noise and the rattling/buzzing noise, combined with the fact that my small bedroom is still warm even with continuous use, have me regretting this purchase. I bought early in the year to avoid the rush and at this point, I doubt returning it is an option.
Don’t make the same mistake I did. Avoid at all costs!

Very proud to buy a trusted Canadian brand! Danby is a great company selling affordable yet built to last products. I recently bought two Danby portable air conditioner 10,000btu with an irresistible sale price. There are lots of other brands with similar pricing but I chose Danby. After knowing my parents experience with it and also with countless positive reviews, Danby is the brand I chose. This product is good for 250-300sq ft standard bedroom. Cools down very quickly in 30C hot weather. Noise is tolerable. Small and compact. Easy installation. Love love love!
