great a/c for small condo

we bought the 10,000btu a/c for our 860sq ft apartment, it really cools the whole living space down (minus the bedrooms). It's been a life saver during the heat waves in B.C.... Not too noisy, honestly doesn't bother us, and love the small footprint. Would recommend!

-surprisingly attractive design for an AC
-working well on auto setting, AC and fan. Have not yet tried dehumidifer-only option.

Fantastic, quiet Danby portable air conditioner

Works absolutely fantastic. The balcony kit for the window works great. No complaints here. I have another name brand portable air conditioner in my bedroom and the noice level is no different then my Danby. Delivery was also as advertised fast delivery service.

Our hot sweltering top floor bedroom from hell became a spa like clean air refuge. Auto settings are on the money and installation was shocking easy without the need for tools. So thankful! Danby scored a home run with this unit!

The Air Conditionaer arrived promptly and works well. It is suitable for my apartment and is nice and quiet when on. I have only used the cooling function to date.

Nice & COLD

I have this in my bedroom where I spend most of my time lol....it cools the room fast..I have to turn it down sometimes which is a good thing.. the only downfall is it's a little LOUD then again all ACs are loud so I can't sleep with it on...the fan mode is just as good too with keeping me cool as I sleep..super easy to hook up as well love it!!

We've owned this unit for almost 2 months and we can't seem to troubleshoot the noise. I originally bought it to help keep my baby cool during the heatwave but I can't hear her over the jet-like sounds even though we are on the other side of my bedroom from the unit. I wish I had returned within the 30-day window but I thought the sound was typical for portable air conditioners. After being at other folks' homes I noticed that their units are significantly quieter than this one. I wish I had done more research before buying this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GET IT!!!

Was deciding between this or the LG. So glad I went with this. Easy to use and superb build quality. If you’re worry about noice…Don’t!. This AC is quiet (to me at least) and COLD. Not much more I can say but recommend y’all to give it a try.
