Broken after 2 years.

Broken after 2 years. Turns out but it will not get any water. Very disappointed. I’m out of warranty by less than 3 months. What a let down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not expect to last beyond warranty.

Gets 1 star for lasting the duration of the warranty period. Less than 1 year later, sealed systems leaked refrigerant. Compressor runs but does not cool coils. Not cool at all. Find the longest sealed system warranty possible.

Dehumidifier failed

Worked fine for the first 2 years. Failed after less than 3 years use. The lower half of the evaporator is completely frosted and upper half is at room temperature. Room temperature is 74° so it is not a cold room problem. Humidifier filter and coils are clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just purchased, missing a part. Hope manufacturer make it right and send me the missing part. I would like to have full use of this product.

This is my second DANBY dehumidifier purchased, as the first one has worked great for a few years now. Unfortunately the box did not contain he continuous drain outlet hose. The seller advised me to reach out to the manufacturer for for a free part and apologized for the inconvienance.
I have reached out to DANBUY and await their response under the warranty and since I purchased this unit 4 days ago.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great when it works

Dehumidifier was great. It’s started to freeze up during every use and appears to be an issue that others have been experiencing. Frustrating that for the cost it wouldn’t last longer. I’m going to try the warranty process. Hopefully, that works.

Après un deuxième été d’utilisation, il y a une fuite qui crée du givre rapidement et le rend moins efficace. Ma sœur a le même problème! Impossible à réparer! Dommage il fonctionnait si bien.
