Quiet and performs efficiently so far

Have only used the product for approximately a week. It’s a 40pint replacing another brand 50pint dehumidifier which failed after 13 months (out of warranty). So far the Danby pulled humidity down to normal within hours after setup and we noticed it to be quieter than the old brand.

Energy Star 40 Pint Dehumidifier

Bought the Danby Energy Star 40 for our large semi-finished basement. Keeps the humidity between + or - 2.5% from setpoint. Been running for 2 months without any issues. Love the large bucket because it needs emptied way less often than the smaller unit it replaced. so far I am glad I purchased this unit and feel it is a good value for the money spent. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because it has only been 2 months since I bought it and want to see if it stands the test of time. Bought the 2 year warranty also.
