Danby 40 Pint Dehumidifier is the Best Gift I Ever Received

Two years ago I was gifted a Danby Dehumidifier. It was life changing and that's not hyperbolic. It effectively removes so much moisture from the air that my electric bill in the summer was dramatically reduced. And I'm much more comfortable too! I've recommended the product to my friends and those that have purchased one agree that it's worth every penny in the increased indoor comfort level while saving money on air conditioning. Highly recommend.

I was having a problem with the dehumidifier unit starting up again after I emptied the water container. I contacted Danby. Alicia responded almost immediately with a suggestion to fix this problem. Her suggestion fixed the problem.

An excellent dehumidifier

This is our second Danby Dehumidifier. The first one lasted 8 years, and we loved it. The best thing was how quiet it was, and secondly, how efficient and reliable it was. When it finally "bit the dust", we had no second thoughts about buying another Danby to replace it.

Bought this dehumidifier to replace a Danby dehumidifer that only lasted 2 1/2 years. I think they are good units overall, but I bought extended warranty on this one!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased the Danby 40-Pint Dehumidifier recently for my large garage and have been very happy with its performance. It was easy to set up and worked perfectly from the start. I would recommend it and will continue to buy this brand of dehumidifier in the future.

Does it's job & nice to have side-vent outflow

Does the job in dehumidifying basement. Ran in for drainage to the bucket to be sure it worked, then set up for drainage out a hose. Durability is important to us, but we've only had it for a month. It's bigger than the last one we had, but we like how the air vent pushes out to the side, not out the top. This is better for placement in tighter spaces, and for keeping the outflow vent clear of dust/debris.
