Cooling, heating, quiet, and cost effective!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Frigidaire unit and installed it several weeks ago. It has been cooling the second level of my home like a charm and is much quieter than I expected and experienced with previous window units built by other manufacturers. While it's not time to use the supplemental heat feature, I did test it out and it too works great! I finally have a great and cost effective solution for both cooling and heating in an area of my home that has been difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature. I loved this unit so much that I purchased a second unit for another area of my home. I will say that this unit is big! So if someone decides to buy this unit they should measure the window opening they intend to install it in carefully to ensure it will fit. As well, I highly recommend purchasing a support bracket to support the back of the unit from the outside of a window. Great unit and highly recommend for anyone needing an affordable and quality cooling and heating solution.

Perfect unit

insulation in the attic or outside walls, but to my surprise it does! I feel confident that we will have the same experience with the heat when winter comes. I am so happy! The unit is quiet and was very easy to install. I couldn’t ask for anything more. Thank you

Chosen as it is a Heat Pump

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happy to buy this A/C to supplement my split A/C in my cabin which has a metal roof. The split A/C rating was too low for the area of the cabin and the metal roof as the temperature during a hot summer day would go above 80F and this was unacceptable since I rent the cabin out. I looked at a lot of A/C with cooling and heating but some of the heating ones had heating elements rather than a reversing valve that heat pumps have. Also above 10,000 BTU/hr, they became 220 V AC. Hence this A/C had pretty decent reviews and I purchased it and installed in in my window. It now cools the place efficiently and have been able to get down to 65F which is a big improvement. Just want to clarify that I have bot the split unit and this window unit on to reach this temperature. I am pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit to replace an upright unit which I had in my workshop, but did not do the job. Before that one I had a 5000 btu window unit which did ok, but didn't compared to this new unit. This is just what I should have bought the first time. It is so nice when I open my door, I feel the coolness right away.
