Never worked

The unit won’t blow cold air. We have been told we’d be notified by a technician but that was about a month ago. We’ve had to purchase another unit in the meantime. Not sure anyone is coming to fix it and they won’t take it back.

Frigidaire 11000 BTU Window Air Conditioner with Supplemental Heat and Slide Out Chassis

Heat and Cooling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit has made my summer very comfortable and relaxing without having to worry about the Texas heat. The air conditioner runs cold and is an extremely great product. I will always stick with this brand. The performance of the air conditioner is extremely well. It has multiple settings to help improve a better experience for those hot summer days. It has a great look to it as well as being easy to use. White in color, multiple settings, easy to see buttons, clear writing as well as big buttons. I haven't had any problems with this product. It turns on with no problems and cools down a room quickly. I can't wait to see how the heat work's this winter, making it useful year around. The slideout chassie made it super easy to install and get a airtight installation.

DOES NOT heat as you would expect as it's "featured"

I'm completely disappointed in this units "heating" functionality. It's a complete waste of time and money! My LASKO small portable heater is doing 100000% better than this piece of junk! Disgusted and ticked off!

Mine is five years old and still ticking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this model in 2014 and it works great, in both winter and summer (I live in Phoenix). The price is a bit higher now than it was in 2014, of course. I also bought two smaller Frigidaire units for the bedrooms in my house. I save about $100 a month in AC costs during the summer. My experience is that these smaller units are more durable than the 3-ton unit on my roof, which I use only when I need to cool the whole house.
I would recommend this to a friend!
