good unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought and installed in my garage workshop and it works very well and heating and cooling it.
My only dissatisfaction with it is that it does not appear that it can be connected to an external thermostat to automatically shift it between the two modes when needed.

AC and heat

At first it was for the heater buy later the AC was used . This was extremely helpful with the onset of the Corona virus. This unit was really helpful during my stay in Florida and preformed ad was expected for a Frigidaire product.

Cold air but ...

I put this AC in my new tiny house in very hot Texas and it really does keep it cool and blows very cold air. I'm only giving it 3 stars because ... unless in low fan it is very loud compared to others that I've owned ... it produces lots of water which is constantly being used to help cool it and the constant splashing, swishing sound can be annoying. Lastly, it's not Winter yet but early one morning I did test the heat function for about 30 minutes. The heat is average, lukewarm air which will only serve as a supplemental heat source. With all this being said ... I needed a powerful AC with very cold air ... it definitely fits the bill in that department.

Thank you for your review. We are glad to know that the air conditioner is working well, except for the concerns with the excessive moisture and the Heat feature. The air conditioner does work as a dehumidifier and is based on the humidity levels in the home, which produces the splashing and swishing sound you are hearing. As for the Heat cycle, the air conditioner will maintain the heat in the room between 55 degrees and 80, some models go up to 86 degrees. Waiting for replacement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first unit had the ground broken off the plug-in. Frigidaire is sending a replacement. You have to wait a while when calling Customer Service, but they were very accomodating.

Great compact unit

One con is that it does have a loud fan system, nothing you can’t get over on a hot day! I would definitely recommend this product if your in the market for a window unit.

This air conditioner arrived at the perfect time! It was super easy to install (don’t mind the blue tape, it is temporary as we need to get more) we use the air conditioner constantly and it cools down the whole top floor of our home! I couldn’t be more happy with this product and I recommend it to anyone in need!
