I like that the compressor runs at different speeds, saving me money. I have tested this unit and seen it pulling as little as 179 watts, while cooling! My only wish is that they put a reverse cycle in it for using as a heat pump. Thanks LG!

It worked out so well that I added another one of these to my bedroom and no longer use my central unit at all. My home actually stays comfortable on 100 degree, high humidity, south Ga. days. And my energy bill dropped by about 25-30 percent from last year, same time period. Very energy efficient, quiet running, and cools very well. Made my summer much more pleasant. I highly recommend these LG's.

14000 btu window unit is keeping a 1400 Sq ft house at 73 with outside Temps in the 90s. Have been monitoring the wattage used and it is well below stated specs. The remote is great but the app and Alexa integration need some work

After considerable research, we decided upon LG. We were replacing an old very dependable Admiral Model with large capacity LW1517ISW 14,000 BTU unit. So far, so good ! It is living up to it's advertising. It is very quiet, it does cool a very large space, it cycles as it said it would. The remote is nice and convenient. We are looking forward to long uncomplicated service.

I bought this a few weeks ago and I love it. It seriously is no louder than a fan. I had an ac before I took back cause it was so loud and it didn’t cool enough. This ac cools way more than stated and truly is so quiet. I had at least 4 ac before and was unhappy with them all until I found this lg model.

We love our new product the best part about the feature is we can be miles away from my house and we can put the air conditioner on from far away with the tap of a button on our cell phone. It will also let us know what the temperature is in the room so we can know when we should put the air conditioner on it really cools my house down love our new purchase
