[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this air conditioner as a back up to use in my bedroom , just Incase our central air conditioner went down so we had time to decide what we would do. The unit is quiet as many people have said, I have to agree with most of the reviews about the wi-fi It drops out or just does not work ! Every thing made can always be made better in time ....and this air conditioner is no exception , but for now it’s a great start and I would recommend this unit to anyone .
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Features/Settings, Performance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It cools the room in minutes and was easy to install. No complications, low noise. WiFi feature for app controls is really useful. Minimum temp is 60°. This LG window AC turned out to be more than I expected. Great product, definitely buy one if you don't want a complicated installation only satisfaction.
Best regards!

Just after a few weeks of use I can confidently say that this is the best air conditioner I’ve ever owned (and I’ve had quite a few). First off (and of the least importance), it’s actually stylish! Never thought I’d say that about an air conditioner, but it’s true. It’s sleek and has a nice modern look to it. Secondly, it is super quiet. I guess it’s the dual inverter technology inside it, but whatever the reason, I appreciate it considering it’s right next to me when I’m relaxing in my living room watching television. And lastly (and most importantly), it cools down my house very effectively. At first I was a little concerned considering it was a lower BTU than the air conditioner it replaced, but much to my surprise, not only did it keep up with it, but actually surpassed it! My living room (and other rooms adjoining it) cool much faster than with my last one. In conclusion, I highly recommend this air conditioner to anyone who has become skeptical of air conditioners from other brands (as I had). It has earned my approval and I am looking forward to it keeping me nice and cool for the years to come.

Hands down the coolest AC ever made!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I got it about a month ago and couldn't be happier. The compressor is silent unless its going full throttle. (thats only if it was off and room is really hot) For the most part compressor runs continuously but at a low speed and low current draw. The fan is really quiet and speed changes are so gradual you wont notice. The unit doesn't drop in the window but you install the outer shell that weighs just about nothing. Once its secure in the window you slide the Ac in like a cartridge. Super safe install. Only a few cons. The side wing walls the retaining clip on the bottom is kinda weak. What i want is to have runing data on the APP like power consumed, running speed and downloadable history.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Performance, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG 14,000 BTU Dual Inverter Smart wi-fi Enabled Window Air Conditioner is awesome! I love that I can control it with Alexa right from my phone. I don't have to be in the room to control the air conditioner. It is a great product.
My only issue is that due to the weight of the air conditioner it is very difficult to install. It takes a bit of work to secure it so that it doesn't fall.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Unit, Terrible Packaging, App is lacking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed in garage this week. Very very quiet and effective in our 700sq ft garage with vaulted ceiling. Packaging needs to be far more substantial as there is zero protection for the delicate fins on rear of unit (mine arrived compressed in a softball size area along with multiple bends in the chassis frame)... Its heavy and should be fully enclosed in heavy foam block. I would have returned it but I knew the next one would most likely arrive damaged as well considering the lack of protection. Please fix this LG it makes you look really bad.. I only recommend purchasing if you can pick up and inspect in a store. The app is easy to use but is missing and indicator for when the unit is actually running vs sitting idle (one of the most important features needed to control power consumption and fine tune its operation!!!). Nearly a deal breaker. I rate the unit 5 stars but the app 2.5. These wifi enabled units are for those who want to fully monitor and control their appliance from outside the home. Please address this LG and you will keep your customers. Ive already been burned by you guys on a poorly built ($1000) computer monitor and a lack of support. I nearly chose another brand AC because of it. A local utility rebate kept me with LG.
