3rd summer using this unit. Only real issues are lack of proper condensation draining (I added a few holes to the case to address) and mold buildup in the air vents/duct. I clean the unit every fall when it's removed from the window but the mold comes back by the end of the summer.
Blows 43 degree air in a 70 degree room.

Adding a dehumidifier can help reduce the moisture in the air, which can lower the amount of build-up in your unit.
