Great AC unit except for a lack of a heat mode

Will there ever be a reverse cycle/heat pump model of this airconditioner? The unit looks amazing and from what I have seen, it is a fantastic system, the only drawback for me is that it doesn't have a model that can do heating as well as cooling.
It shouldn't be to hard to make a reverse cycle model of this but I might be wrong.
Pros: Style/Design, Performance, Quality, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have been using this AC unit for several months. It was easy to install & cranked right up. It seems to be more efficient & cooled our area very easily. Much quieter than previous units. It really pulls the humidity out of the air. My electric bill dropped some which I think was due to this AC. If I get another AC unit, it will be this unit with inverter technology.

This is my second summer with this unit and it has no issues cooling my 500 sq ft apartment. During the summer months I have this running nearly every day and have not experienced any problems. The ability to control my AC unit through the app is super useful too, as I can turn it on/off for my pets when I’m away.the machine itself is also super easy to clean, and instructions are simple. Just be cognizant that this is a heavy unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this unit to help cool the second floor of our home after our central air conditioning died. It performed well, although it took some fans to propel the air to desired locations. I got this LG because we had other LG appliances and I was hoping it could also be controlled or monitored from my phone; however, since we don't have 2.4GHz WiFi in our house, I was unable to configure it successfully that way. The energy saver setting allowed a surprising amount of leeway from the set temperature, and the setting to simply keep the air dry didn't seem to help at all, so we stopped trying to use that. Installation was not overly complicated, although we did have to source some wood plinths to help secure the unit. We just removed the unit from the window for the winter, and that was a pretty easy job. Overall, it was a decent purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this A/C unit a little over a year ago bought it directly from LG the transaction was straight forward shipped right on time and we’re very happy,install was quite easy and it worked great for 1 day . The LG tech new what was wrong because of an error code it told him.he replaced one of those important parts and it worked great ever since then . We run this unit 24/7 during the summer it saves a little on the electric bill compared to the old unit. It is also very quiet.

I bought this unit over a year ago, and I'm impressed with how well it can cool my 1600 sq. ft. home. My only complaint is that the base of the unit rusted within the first week of owning it. I've since removed the rubber drain plug from it, but it now drips rusty water onto my pathway leaving an orange stain.
