I purchased it right before summer started for a room that has been converted and used to be a garage. My girlfriend uses this room to work from home and it is crucial for her to be comfortable here. We are going on our second year with this unit and it survived it's second summer without a problem! And we live in Texas! With record setting temperatures I was not sure how it would hold up but this has been a great purchase and an excellent investment. Just be sure to routinely clean out the filter which isn't a problem because it has a reminder light for that too. This AC unit is so great we even keep it on energy saver and do not break a sweat. Good job LG!

Great Air Conditioner/ Poor Internet Connectivity

This is without a doubt the quietest and most efficient window air conditioner I have ever owned. Powerful and darn near silent. The WIFI connectivity is poor though. It connected readily and easily the first time. But I haven't been able to use the WIFI features since I upgraded my bandwidth and speed. It won't re-connect.
