[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just replaced my ac with this smart ac in my 1940's home. Installation wasn't bad, just take your time and dont rush. I have had it installed about a month now and am so glad i picked the smart ac. I am able to start the ac about an hour before i get off work and so the house is cool when i get home. Also i am loving the drying option on the ac. On rainy days where the ac is not needed but humid, the drying option works great. I have also been watching the power usage on the app and already i can tell this summer is not going to cost me as much as the old ac did last summer. If your replacing an old ac or just wanting to add one, this is the best choice for the money all the way around.

I have a large mobile home from the 80’s ( very little insulation) with the original central ac unit in hot central Florida. While running the mobile’s central air, I had to choose between minimal comfort and a sky high electric bill. In addition I had to constantly get up to adjust the thermostat because of the swings between hot and cold. I monitor my electric bill via an app with the electric company and the LG ac has cut my bill by more than half while running it like I want. Plus the LG app is great! Now I see instantly all the energy stats related to the unit and I can adjust temperature while laying on the couch for perfection! The unit is so quiet too! This isn’t your Window unit from the old days, it is like a mini split but at a slightly higher window unit cost. The LG is so adjustable and flexible! What made me purchase the unit was another review that said just buy it, now I am saying the same!

It does a great job of cooling our entire upstairs which is about 1700 sq ft. It looks great and modern and also it has to be one of the quietest window units out there. My previous air conditioner sounded like a freight train compared to this. We are extremely happy with this purchase. Not to mention all the neat control features and ability to operate this through our phones.

The dual inverters have saved me nearly 40$ on my electric bill compared to my old dinosaur I replaced with this and that was just the first month!
