[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this ac a month ago and it has helped keep us cool this summer. It’s very quiet and very powerful. It cools my entire decent size living room and kitchen. I’m so happy with LG that I bought a new refrigerator, range and microwave.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this air conditioner three weeks ago and we love it! It’s amazingly quiet and we don’t have to turn the volume up high on the television when we watch tv. I’m amazed!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a question as to whether or not I should take out the rubber drain plug on the bottom of the casing. The wrong remote control came with my unit and the two more LG sent me were also the wrong model remote. But, other than that it’s nice and powerful. Saved me thousands on a central air unit that I basically didn’t need. Why I went for 10 years without an air conditioner I’ll never know after owning this unit. I didn’t like the installation hardware so I just bought a drill-less window bracket and it works fine. Very quiet unit. Best value.
Got this about a year ago, only used in the summer months in New England. So far it has been great keeping about 700 sq.ft cool, very quiet, easy to use. The only small thing is that the app is usually a little slow to start but nice functions and controls. So far no issues, no complaints,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a portable AC unit in an insulated wooden shed where Grandpa builds remote control planes. When I first plugged this in the fan barely blew any air, and the compressor did not turn on… It was on a 20 amp circuit with a GFI outlet in circuit… But the unit already has a GFI on the plug… So it kept blowing the GFI on the wall because it wants more electricity than the GFI would allow even though it’s supposed to allow 15 amps… So I called service and they said it has to be on its own circuit with no GFI. So I installed a 20 amp breaker, yellow Romex and a new outlet for the unit and now it’s colder than Christmas in July! The moral of the story is that modern building codes may make this unit not run without the help of an electrician depending on where you plan to install it… Make sure you have it on its own circuit and no GFI in line or it will blow! A 20 amp breaker works great!
This is nice and quiet. Instructions for Installation is a bit confusing, but manageable. WiFi connection never worked. Poorly designed app. Otherwise, it performs well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last month but installation need revision in the first part of the instructions about the plastic Grove things for the sliders in the window opening. Very oblique
