I have mine in the window which is the living room and the kitchen are kind of one area and it keeps it pretty cool but for my liking I could probably use two of these one in my room and one out here in my living room kitchen area other than that it’s working just fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had a few different brands of AC units while living in NYC apartments in the past 16 years, and so far this LG units is by far the quietest and most efficient one I’ve owned yet. I had to have it professionally installed (my building required it!), so I can’t say anything about install. But, I can say that it is nice to have a white unit in the window and one that looks sleek too. It is definitely a large one - as it’s 14k btu, but it was worth getting the large size to cool my decent sized pre-war apartment. One note - ThinQ doesn’t work with my fios router, so I can’t work the AC via wi-fi, but the remote works great when needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally needed to upgrade from a portable and we are struggling with extreme heat wave. This unit was perfect. with help from friend we were able to install it within about 2hrs but we did some extra custom work for stability outside the window. I am not sure it was needed, just felt safer because it was so heavy. When the reviews say heavy, they mean it. It was helpful to have the box to install first which is not heavy at all.
