[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just installed this to replace an old GE air conditioner, which never really worked well. This LG is much quieter, and cools the room far faster and better than the old one did.

This is deffinitly true and my electric bill has gone down since using it. Additionally, this A/C is also very quiet! I would say the only slight downside is I have had stronger 14K BTU units, this one feels more on par with a strong 12K unit.
