Looking to chill indoor.

I was in need of a new a/c, my old unit was giving me trouble. I did some research and found the 12,000 b.t.u window air conditioner from G.E. I like the wifi feature, also that is quieter than my old one. So far so good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great strength and very quite

I live in a a small in law and wanted to go with a mini split system but it was unfortunately not doable after some research I chose this unit. It’s cools very well and it exceptionally quiet! I highly recommend this unit.

They don't build them like they used to.

On initial start up, I thought, this thing doesn't work. Took several minutes after selecting settings I chose for start up. I've been used to instant reaction. I'm getting used to it and seems to work as designed, like it or not. Cools well, fan not as powerful as older models. Is quiet, on low you can't hear it. My last GE lasted two years, that's 6 months of use. I hope this one does much better.

The unit does not live up to it’s description. It makes a lot of noises especially on start up. And it takes a long time to cool the space

Great upgrade from an older unit

Have been running this AC for 3wks now and am very happy and impressed. It's very powerful when it needs to blast the cold and is one of the most efficient units on the 2022 market. When I don't need full blast, the inverter technology let's it run slower to maintain the cool and be lite on the electric bill too. The app features are also great to schedule on/off times/temps for vacation or home routines and check kw/hr usage.

Eh, I was so hopeful.

I was so hopeful with this AC, the design nice, it cooled well, not noisy, easy to install, however 3 days later started making very loud mechanical noises, which I knew were off, called for support and everyday had to listen to this loud knocking noise , ratting noice etc. this was not a cheap AC, I am just hopeful it can be fixed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
