And it’s made to last very well-made I just can’t get over how powerful I’ll get the room cold so fast and it’s a great brand to me it’s a brand you can trust what’s better than that

Perfect for the Office

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I've been working from home I've been using my shed as a makeshift office to give some privacy for conference calls and meeting deadlines, but in the summer months it's been a little stuffy. The GE Profile window air conditioner was a welcome change to that. I was able to easily install it in the shed window within about 15 minutes, and I had it ready to start cooling. I only got to use it for a few days before the weather turned cold, but I enjoyed using Alexa to control the air flow, and it runs quiet enough to not interfere in my web calls. I use the remote to start it up prior to heading out to the shed so that it cools down a bit before I get out there, and then I don't have to let it run all the time. I absolutely would recommend this to anyone who needs some cooling of a room, garage, or shed with the features of a smart appliance.

We found it easy to install and set up and in no time we were enjoying nice cool air conditioning. My husband is into all the new technology so he was thrilled it was a smart unit so he can control it when it runs and it even reminds him when to change the filter! It's nice that it shuts off to save energy too.

Best window AC I've ever experienced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had many window AC units and this one is by far the best. I am amazed how relatively quiet it is. It does not clunk and dim the lights every time the compressor cycles on. You do not hear the constant whine of the compressor. The only sounds are of moving air through the blower, and occasionally a low sound from the compressor. There are times I have to look to see if its even turned on! The unit puts out great cooling and moves the air in my bedroom. My only complaint is difficulty getting the Wi-Fi to connect with the app.

I love the fact it has Wifi, I can turn it on before I head out to the shop so its cooled down when i go inside. Easy to install and easy to run. It doesnt get much better than this. Thanks GE

Effectively cools bonus room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GE 12,000 BTU Smart Window Air Conditioner replaces an older same sized unit on a second floor bonus room above the garage. The air conditioner is heavy and while installation is possible with one person, two will make the process much smoother. Installation was typical of the other window units that have been installed in my house. Everything needed to install the unit was included. This unit is large, so measure your opened window space to verify it will open to the full height needed. This includes a remote and it can be controlled via the app and voice controlled via Alexa (and others), though it is not necessary to use this feature to operate the unit. Smart feature set-up took slightly longer than anticipated, but it appears to work as expected. Since the room we installed this in is a bonus room we don't use everyday, I enjoy having the wifi feature because I can cool the room down about an hour before anyone plans on hanging out up there. As far as cooling, it effectively cools the 550 sf room with ease and the unit is relatively quiet. The cord is 6 feet long Please remember the cord must be plugged directly into an outlet for safety purposes. The unit is solid and I am very happy with its performance.

Nice looking, quite and cools very well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a shed that I turned into a workshop. It got really hot in there so I got the to cool things down. I like that this is lower profile not taking up much space and that is really quite. It does a really great job cooling down the shed without needing to crank it way down. The window spacers are kind on the cheaper side so I had to modify it some so air didn't escape.
Beyond that, this is a great air conditioner. I recommend it.
