Perfect for our living room!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve only been using the GE 8,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner a day, but it’s been working wonders already. We live in an older building that doesn’t have central air, so it gets extremely hot when the temperature starts warming up. This Air Conditioner is easy to set up and use, and it cools our living room quickly. It even has a timer, so it automatically turns on (and off) at a specific time. We couldn’t be happier!

AC has 2 cooling modes, 2 fan speeds and a built in dehumidifier. 24 hour timer and easy roll wheels. Comes with remote so you can easily adjust the unit from anywhere in the room. This is a fantastic AC unit. Easy install kit is included. I’m very happy with this product.

Cooled down the room!

Doesn't weigh much, rolls around easily, and best of all does it's job and cooled down our very small living room. It felt so good to come inside from 95°f+ weather outside and walk into the living room.
What I loved the most about it, was the ease to install it. It literally took less than 5min. Super quick and easy!

This GE - APFA08YBMW potable unit is just perfect. I was pleasantly surprised how effective it is, cools down a room very quickly. Easy to unpack and install, love the fact it can be used as a room fan and dehumidifier too. It is 12" W x 26.25" H x 11.25" D, so it doesn't take up much space; This is a very well-made, nice-looking, efficient Portable Air Conditioner! I look forward to being cool all summer long ! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this GE® 8,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner for Small Rooms up to 150 sq ft. (5,300 BTU SACC) to use in my older house - I am using the air conditioner in my master bedroom - so far it is working well - but the dog days of summer are yet to come and I will see how well it works. It is a little bigger than I was hoping it would be -- it also is not to loud although I like white noise while I'm sleeping
