Great Design, Quiet and Cool

I give this unit a 4 only because it's based on a short-term usage period. I really like the design so much that I purchased another one just a while ago. Very quiet, cools very well and made my day and next morning. I'm fairly certain that the next one will do well also.

Great air conditioner and the design with the compressor on the outside and the window almost fully closed is fantastic, very little noise.

This unit cools very well. Has a water splashing sound in the back that you can hear if you are outside but I have been told this is normal because the fan throws water on the condenser to keep it cool.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy installation, quiet as advertised, love how it sits on the window sill and puts no pressure on the frame! The only reason for stars is due to the grill isn't adjustable for side deflection and doesn't go horizontal enough!

The saddle type design fits our needs well. We have a great view of landscaping out the front of our house and the AC permits us to see it without blocking part of the view. The AC provides great cooling for an area slightly larger than 450 sq. ft. plus an open hallway that allows adequate cooling for two bedrooms. It is quiet on the inside. Noise from the compressor is outside the window and is not noticeable indoors.

Quiet, efficient, small foot print. It has been a great choice for us. It works as GE advertises. First widow unit we have bought in our 36 years and it preforms well great design by GE.
