Easy install, Cools well, but missing 1 piece...

Lots of good videos made it easy to install. So far very quiet and does an excellent job cooling my main Living Room which gets all the Arizona afternoon heat. Only issue I had was it was missing the Foam side panel. I improvised with some Styrofoam I had but would like to get the missing piece sent to me!

I bought this to replace a freestanding floor unit. This looks better, cools better, drains outside and saves space. Plenty of power and is quiet!

Great choice for a supplement to the central AC

Highly recommended (GE PHNT10CC) for its fast cooling performance, quiet operation, and sleek design that preserves the window view. Installation was straightforward—though it does require two people to safely position it over the windowsill.
Our home, built in the 1960s, has small AC ducts leading to the second floor, making it notoriously difficult to cool that area even with solid insulation. We had considered installing a multi-split system upstairs, but this GE model offered an effective and much more affordable alternative—without sacrificing the window view.
I haven’t tried the phone control feature yet, but the unit has already exceeded expectations. It kept our second floor master bedroom comfortably cool this summer, which was especially impressive given the frequent 97°F+ days we experienced.
