Many great features make this my favorite AC

love the drop down design which not only creates more viewing area above the window, but also allow the window to still be opened if needed. Hanging over the sill makes for a very sturdy install, not able to fall out like traditional AC's. The unit is so quiet,(even on High) i cannot hear if it is running unless i am in the same room and other sources of noise like TV's are off or turned down. The wireless APP is very convenient, i can monitor the energy use and control all the GE AC's in my house right from my phone. the system using the foam panels instead of the traditional accordion louvers, seals the window very well. The only minor gripe I have is the sticky back foam that goes across the top of the AC will need to be cut at each side of the AC when i remove the AC before winter. After purchasing the first, I ordered 2 more of these AC's for different rooms in the house.

This very quiet Air Conditioner is designed so that we can see at our windows and it does not obstruct views, it cools exceptionally and is very quiet, we can listen to the television on its normal volume… we have only had it installed about a week, so this is a very early review, but so far extremely pleased

Excellent window AC that lets lots of light into the room. Very pleased with energy efficiency options and quiet mode. Install was easy and look 30 minutes. It's a great option if a mini-split or duct AC is not possible - I live in a small brick condo, so an efficient, easy to use window AC is a must.
The only drawback is vibrations the machine makes when cooling on high mode, otherwise I would rate as 5 stars.

We recommend resetting your air conditioner by disconnecting power from the unit for 2 - 3 minutes and reconnecting power. If this reset does not revert the unit back to normal operating function, we advise scheduling service to get this error code properly addressed. P1 code

I love the ac. It cools well and doesn't block the view out my window. The only problem is I keep getting the P1 code and have to drain it continuously. Is there something wrong with it or are they made that way?
