It can be important to remember that the temperature of the room can be an important factor on cooling performance. Sometimes it can take a couple of hours before the set temperature is reached, especially when the air conditioner is first installed.

I have three of these window units, including two 6,100 BTU A/Cs, and they are all really excellent — very efficient, extremely quiet and easy to use. Setting up the internet connection was simple and it’s very convenient. However, I only gave them 4 stars because installation can be very tricky. I have a masonry house — the outside is brick and the thick walls make the units unbalanced, as they have to be stretched out to their full depth. I had to prop up the outside half with a piece of wood on the brick sill to get it level and stable. The adjusting rods which pin the thing to the house do not support the weight when extended this far. So you have to plan ahead when you do this type of install, but it’s worth it. They’re the best A/C units I’ve ever had.

Runs very quiet and cools pretty nicely. The app reports energy usage and it has wifi. Installation was fairly simple when following YouTube video. I haven't had it long enough to honestly evaluate the coverage area.

Very Nice Unit So Far

The unit works great. We have several in our 3600 sqft house and they do the job keeping it cool. In the bedroom the noise is very low. They were very easy to install. Only thing is the noise outside. The units seem to make a continuous gurgling sound. Not sure if the is normal. It is not a problem as far as the noise but we are trying to determine if this is normal.

Great concept and look, but fails in performance

This AC unit makes a rattling noise from time to time, half the time it's nice and silent but the other half the rattling comes. Not great when it happens overnight. It cooled pretty well for the first month or so, then it recently started sensing that it was about 3 degrees cooler than it actually is in the room so it shuts down.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We'd like to help out with the rattling sound and with the cooling performance.
We recommend checking to see if the front grille is loose or broken. We also suggest seeing if the filter is needing to be cleaned. This can lead to poor airflow and increased sounds from the unit. It's also important to check the unit is completely secure in the window.
For the thermometer not detecting the correct temperature of the room, some of the tips above can also help. You will also want to try out an electronic reset. This can be done by unplugging the power cord for 2-3 minutes, then plugging it back in.
