Works as good as I hoped

Purchased to cool an uninsulated gazebo. I had a portable A/C, but didn't like the noise nor the amount of space lost due to entire unit being inside, not to mention the cumbersome hoses. Also, the portable A/C was loud and the cooling ability wasn't all that great (even though it was a 12K Btu rated unit -- based on non-DOE rating). This GE "saddle-style" unit absolutely solved the space and noise issues. The cooling test came this past weekend when we had temperatures near 100F and high humidity. The GE A/C maintained the temperature at a very comfortable 74F (my set temperature). From experience, the (now-retired) portable A/C wouldn't have stood a chance. Installation was easy (I had a helper to get the unit into position). The only thing I cannot attest to is the reliability as I've only had the unit installed for a couple of weeks. But so far, so good!

Love this unit. Installation was a breeze. Connecting to App was smooth. Operation of unit is precise and easy. The cooling range exceeds my expectations, covering the entire 1st level. Cannot speak on energy yet (Haven't received bill since installation of unit). When it comes to features the Silent mode is as described to the point where I had to physically check to ensure it was still operating. This unit cools area so quickly I swapped out my other units for the GE low profile unit. Appearance of unit is very appealing.

Works as advertised. Easy installation. Quiet mode. I used it on a vertical sliding window and it works great. The app is amazing. I do recommend this product.

It was very easy to install and looks great. I love that the compressor is located outside, which makes it quieter. I would have given it five stars, except that if you don't get the pitch just perfect, the unit will rattle. It took me three tries to get it right.

Love the Wi-Fi scheduler features!

We set up the A/C unit in our master bedroom. With the feature to control the unit with our smart phone and set schedules for the unit to turn on, control the temperature and run settings the unit performs very well and cools our room very quietly and efficiently.

No More Sleepless Nights

We installed this air conditioner today, and when I turned it on it was amazingly quiet. I purchased this to replace an older air conditioner and placed in my bedroom because it stated it was quiet. No more noisy air conditioner keeping me up at night! Installation was somewhat difficult, but in the end we got it installed and are very pleased with our purchase!! I highly recommend this product!
