My Midia got recalled so I bought this

Compared to the Midea this is replacing, installation was an absolute easy one-person dream. The remote, and also controls on the unit are superior. This unit is quieter yet has almost 2,000 more BTUs. The drain plug is convenient for winterizing. When set on its lowest setting of 64° f. And allowed to run for a few hours. It will bring the room temp down to 66. This is a 300 square foot room. The Midea went down to 60° f setting and would cool the same room down to about 62. It is not as cold as the Midea, however, it is quieter, easier to install and maintain, and unless you are a viking it should cool you off just fine.

I love that i can control the air conditioner with my phone, and through my Alexa. It is also very quiet and efficient. I have it in a large upstairs dormer room and it cools the whole room. Installation was smooth.

Installation was a lot easier than our old window a.c. My wife and I can't believe how quiet it is. It took a few minutes just after it was set up, but then the cooling started. Probably took a little longer because it was the first time the a.c. was running. LOVE the design.

This was well packaged and easy to unbox. Installation was easy, and the instructions were simple and easy to understand. It was easy to lift by myself, but a second person might be needed if you're unable to lift heavy objects. I was surprised by how quiet it was, and almost had to walk right next to it before I could tell it was running. Very quiet indoors also. Remote is easier to use than most remotes and pretty much self-explanatory. Didnt take long at all to cool my 300 sqft room.

Great window unit

We bought this unit for my she shed here in Florida. Within 10 minutes it had the temperature from 85 to 76. The unit is very quiet. Extremely easy to install. It took me and my husband 10 minutes to set it up. So far it’s working perfect no issues I would recommend this.

Cooling not working

My ac is not cooling my room and it’s a small room what do I do if it’s not cooling.

We want to help out with your air conditioner not cooling properly.
The first place we recommend checking is the coils on the outside for dirt buildup. If dirty, vacuum with soft bristle brush. We also recommend checking if the filter is needing to be cleaned. You can find information on pages 7 and 8 inside the user manual below.

So far, so good

So far, so good. I've only been running it for less than 24 hours with both days being over 90°f. I set it at max 65° cooling & high speed fan and it got my 250 sf room to 72° in a few hours. Turned it to 74°, eco, auto setting and it maintained 73-74° all night and was quiet. Very easy to install with two people.
