Great installation, and immediate cooling

Installation was really nice, I set it up on a 2nd story window with no outside access. My windows height was 13.5" it was a tight squeeze but not bad to setup. The difference was immediate dropping from 84 to 74 in 30 minutes. Planning to install another one at my mother in laws house.

This Window Unit Is A Game Changer!

This is by far the quietest air conditioner I have ever owned. Not only is a quiet, but the cooling efficiency is amazing. I love the under window profile so I can still open my window up on cooler days and just have the fresh air come in. The Wi-Fi app is also amazing. I can turn the air conditioning on when I am driving home so the house is cool by the time I get there. I highly recommend this over any other brand.

Almost exactly what I was hoping for

I'm actually giving this a 4.8 but rounding up to 5. The ".2" less than 5 is because the temperature sensor doesn't seem to work well unless the fan is on, which means large temperature fluctuations when it's in Energy Saver mode. For example, last night I had it on Energy Saver mode and the app returned an inside temperature of 68 degrees (F) with the target temperature of 75. I changed it to "Cool" and within 2-3 minutes the temperature rose to 76 degrees which meant the compressor finally kicked on. Everything else about it is exactly what I was hoping for: It sits low on the window, I won't have to remove it in the winter other than covering up the outside portion, it's SUPER quiet as in it's 2 feet behind the couch and I easily am not aware of it running when I watch TV, and finally MUCH more energy efficient than the beast I replaced it with.

Rattle noise on inside fan

I want to like this AC. It has a clean look and allows the use of your window. Unfortunately it has a rattle on the inside fan location that’s been there since day one of use. It’s quite annoying and leads me to believe the AC will not last long.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We want to help out with the sound that you are noticing with your air conditioner. We recommend checking to see if the front grille is loose, you can remove the grille to inspect of any damage. We also suggest cleaning the filters, the instructions can be found on page 7 inside the manual below.
