Very well made!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HeartGuide Wearable Blood Pressure Monitor is extremely well constructed, durable and comfortable to wear. I downloaded the software to my iphone quickly and easily. Setup was straightforward to include setting the length of my stride for measuring steps. Interaction between the software on my iphone and the device was seamless and easy to monitor. At first the device seemed heavy and awkward on my wrist but after a few minutes no longer an issue. My one disappointment was that I was unable to get an accurate BP measurement as it always read low when compared to my arm cuff BP ;monitor. I did this comparison several times and the device always seem to be about 10% under my normal readings. However it could be that I have not yet mastered placement on my wrist.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this unit a month ago or so. It does everything it says it can do however, it is bulkier than I thought it would be. The wrist band is difficult to handle but once you have it in place its fine. I don't wear to all day, just 3 times daily when I need to record stats. I can do without the email notifications. If I can't read the email, then why have it, as it is not a smart watch. Other than what have noted, I am glad I have the unit.

Excellet product and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the HeartGUide Medium for my wife who suffers from "white coat syndrome", and whose blood pressure rises very high just at the thought of putting on a blood pressure cuff. Every vivist to the doctor's office is a nightmare as soon as the blood pressure cuff comes out. From the first time she used it, the gentle cuff didn't trigger her blood pressure phobia and we now have a true reading of her blood pressure at any time. She loves tracking her steps, and the history feature in the app.

True Life Saver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Omron is a known name in the market for making high grade medical equipment such as Blood pressure monitors, EKG units, and respiratory devices and they have out done them selves with their new Heart Guide a wearable blood pressure monitor in a watch. The Omron Heart guide wearable blood pressure is a true-life saver for someone that suffers from hypertension or chronic high blood pressure and need to monitor their levels. This is truly a unique device, and I believe the first of its kind that gives you an accurate reading with an inflatable cuff on the inside of the watch band that looks stylish and is also comfortable to wear. So, lets go over some of the features and PRO’s and CON’s of this product.

CONS:
No touchscreen – This is truly an amazing product, but I do wish that the watch had a touch screen.
Lacking in functionality – So, like I had mention before this is truly a unique product, but I do wish the watch had more functionality to it like to be able to check my messages and other smart watch functions. Right now, the watch will provide you with the time, check your blood pressure and a pedometer.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who suffers from hypertension and need to monitor their level on a constant basis, because this watch alone saves you from carry a bulky pressure monitor around with you provides you the ability to check your levels anywhere and anytime.

Connection issues

I selected the “large” size since I have a relatively large wrist for a woman (6.5 inches diameter) and have needed a large size in a previous wearable health tracker. However, the medium would have been a better fit. It does take my blood pressure but may not be accurate since it is a little too big.
The Quick Start Guide needs work. It does not tell you to start by charging the unit which takes at least a couple of hours. The charging cable/clip worked fine. The 1st step in the Guide recommends installing the HeartAdvisor app which I downloaded to my android tablet and set up an account, confirmed via email. However, the guide then states “Pair HeartGuide with your smart device” but doesn’t tell you how to do the pairing. The instruction booklet, page 32, regarding pairing states to enable Bluetooth but again, doesn’t tell you how to do that. Finally, page 49 instructs which button to push to enable Bluetooth. It was not on by default. Once the HeartGuide and tablet were paired I performed my 1st blood pressure check and saw the results on the watch. However, by then the watch was displaying the “Disconnect symbol” which appears when it is not connected to the device yet Bluetooth is enabled. In an attempt to get them connected, I turned Bluetooth on and off on both devices but still no connection. Rebooted my tablet and it finally connected where I could view my results. Performed another blood pressure check and it disconnected from the tablet again!
At this point I have not confirmed the accuracy of the blood pressure measurements. The diastolic seems higher than I have ever had though. Also, it only records heart rate when measuring blood pressure, it is not continuous like other wearable technology.

Accurate, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Omron Heartguide definitely serves its purpose to give accurate blood pressure readings. When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised with the appearance of the device, it’s very similar to major brand smart watches. It did take a few minutes to figure out how to sync the heart guide to my phone. Once connected it’s very easy to get a blood pressure reading in seconds. The only thing I don’t care for is how bulky it is. With that said I understand why it needs to be bulky, the band needs to expand to get a reading. Overall I would recommend the OMRON Heartguide to anyone with high blood pressure. It’s a very convenient, simple way to check your pressure and heart rate anywhere, anytime.

I am glad to have discover Omron Healthcare-Wearable Blood Pressure Monitor-Medium to help me to keep a track of my pressure daily ! this way I have more reading to check and discuss them with my Doctor if there are too many of a high ones ! This monitor is easy to use and since they are wearable I can take reading any time! The free app is also a great plus with this product. I am pleased to have such a convenient monitor!!

MY husband has High Blood Pressure so I love the Fact that His Blood Pressure can be taken anywhere , anytime of Day and Storing it in the App will Help Our Doctor See Everyday what it is! You can see Who calls and Texts on This Watch . So Many Features! The Charger has to be Charged about Everyday but so Understandable with all that is has to Offer!
