Does not measure correctly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My readings with HeartGuide show always less than 100/60 and other wrist BP monitors of Omron show right value for the same identical conditions. Reached out to support number , they asked to use 4 legged chair (instead of chair with wheels) and couple of other tips. HeartGuide fails to read correct values.

Bought a few years ago when they launched. Very difficult to pair, Bluetooth difficulties, unreliable readings, inconsistent performance. Every few months I attempt to use this device hoping I can get it to work, no such luck. Don’t waist your money buy a traditional Bluetooth BP device and you will be much happier.

Works, but simply too large and heavy for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered on Jan 3, arrived in early May. I used the device for three days, but I simply could not get used to the bulk.
If your wrist is on the small side, note that the watch face is huge and heavy. On top of that, the band floats a bit on your wrist on both sides of the face, even when you tighten the band as much as you can.
And I didn't like how I couldn't import the BP readings to other apps that I've been using for weight / fitness tracking (Fitbit and Google Fit).
Finally, the kicker for me was that it was both unwieldy and not even water resistant. I didn't want to keep both a fitness tracker and a HeartGuide around.
Don't get me wrong--it worked exactly as advertised. It's very handy to have a BP monitor on your wrist throughout most of your day. And it does transfer readings to its own smartphone app. It's just that for me, the cons outweighed the pros.
Also, one tip for anyone with a wrist that's barely large enough for the Medium sized HeartGuide, and is getting erratic measurements -- tighten the band of course, but push the whole watch down in the direction of your elbow before you start taking a measurement. My numbers aligned with the basic Omron BP cuff after I started doing that.
When they release a HeartGuide 2.0, I'll definitely check it out.

Excellent BP Device for on the go monitoring

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my experience, I've found the HeartGuide to be fashionably bulky and accurate in BP measurements. Battery life is reasonable but it would be nice to have more days between charges, and a replaceable battery. I would prefer keeping my heartguide and replacing the battery rather than tossing a perfectly good monitor every three years.

Wearable BP8000-M !Great Device!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wearable BP8000-M watch has been the best solution to my everyday need to monitor my blood pressure. Having the convenience of always being ready to test my BP anytime, anywhere is great. Not to mention the watch is stylish and lets me know when I have an incoming text. It also monitors my sleep and exercise habits letting me know how I’m doing. One of the most important features is the ability to record and automatically transfer the data to the phone app. That gives me the ability to share my recordings with my doctor without even going to the doctor's office. Based on my last report the doctor was able to extend my BP medicine for another three months without an office visit.
Thanks Omron

I find that the HeartGuide Blood Pressure Monitor reads low. Its a great idea, and I like the product for what its supposed to do, but its about 20 below for both top and bottom numbers when compared to my regular blood pressure cuff.

Great watch to monitor blood pressure
on May 1, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am the type of person that is always excited for advances in technology, especially those that occur in the health and wellness field. When I heard that a smartwatch was finally approved by the FDA to monitor blood pressure, I knew I had to try it out.
Straight out of the box, the Omron Heartguide has a great appearance, a circular watch, unlike the square ones that are out on the market that I don’t like as much. The default screen displays the numerical day of the month, day of the week and the current time. Overall battery life of this watch has proved very well. I have been getting on average 2-3 days of use out of this while taking my blood pressure about 5-8 times a day. This is great considering other popular smart watches’ battery life.
The app that comes with this smart watch will work with IOS or Android. I use an iPhone, and it gives me many options. I am unable to track all of my blood pressures over time so it gives me a set of data to trend and track. It also shows me my sleep health (how well I slept) when I wear it at night. It even tracks your steps, which proves to be a great feature to hold yourself accountable and improve on your health.
Taking a blood pressure with this watch is very simple. You simply make sure the cuff and your watch is securely around your wrist. Then you press the start button and follow the prompts on the screen. It never takes more than a minute to take a blood pressure, and so far has been pretty accurate for me as long as I remain still. After it takes your blood pressure, it displays the numbers on your watch face and transfers that data to your phone when you open the app.
Overall, I am impressed in his smartwatch. If you are someone that constantly needs to monitor your blood pressure, having this tool always on your wrist should make your health monitoring a lot easier.

For the expense, not sure a normal BP wrist monitor is cheaper unless you want the extras which you have to sync yourself to the program. My Cardiologist doesn't recommend these devices. He says they are not accurate and measuring of BP is less than what it actually is by 20 to 30 points! I would like to know how many Drs recommend this.
