Great BP watch (with some caveats)!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: This watch is a godsent for people like me whose blood pressure often rises in anticipation of the reading at a doctor's office - the reading with HeartGuide is provided relatively quickly compared to conventional blood pressure monitors and the watch allows you to take readings at your own convenience. Moreover, the watch has other smartwatch features in addition to taking blood pressure, such as monitoring sleep patterns and weight.
Cons: My wrist is fairly small, thus I must use the tightest notch on the medium-sized band (this is the band size currently available online). As a result, it is unfortunately very challenging for me to put the watch on by myself as the inner cuff is somewhat rigid. Additionally, I wish the watch could take readings on it's own as I would like to understand my blood pressure during stressful moments of the day (e.g. during meetings) when I cannot discreetly raise the monitor to heart level for a reading.
In summary, although pricey, I think this watch is worth the investment if you suffer from white coat syndrome/hypertension.

I bought this watch from - OMRON - earlier this month. It is exceptional. My late father was a doctor, and I have known for most of my life, that if - OMRON - has something for sale, it will be of exceptional quality. This watch, though this watch, cost's a lot, I do not have any regrets in buying it. I have had problems with high blood pressure, since I was around - 30-years old. Some of the problems that I have with high blood pressure are my own fault. I use the - smokeless - tobacco products, and they have, much more nicotine, than smoking cigarettes. So that in it's self tends to make my blood pressure higher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I need to monitor my blood pressure but am terrible at keeping track and actually taking it. Setting up and using the wearable wrist monitor was a lot easier and I am more likely to use this than a traditional cuff monitor. The highlights, this looks like a watch and since it syncs with your cellphone or tablet, it keeps accurate time. Additionally, you can keep track of your steps and set goals using the Omron app on your device. If you wear the monitor at night, you can track your sleep patterns. Through the app, you can set up notifications to be notified when you get Gmail, nice feature if you like to keep up through the day. If you have the Omron scale with Bluetooth you can use the same app to track your weight in addition to the features found with the blood pressure monitor. The main feature, keeping track daily and weekly of your blood pressure and not just seeing patterns but adding notes or editing readings. I like that you can use the monitor without the app being linked if you just want an occasional reading. I needed to recharge the monitor using the included clip style charger once every 2 days, wish it wasn’t needed so often but because it’s always on it makes sense. This is probably the easiest way to not just take an accurate reading but to keep track of my blood pressure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my new OMRON 8000-m wrist monitor today. I was elated since I was not expecting it til the middle of September. The watch arrived properly packaged and without incident. The set up and programming of the unit was very simple and quick! Took less then 10 minutes. I have compared the readings of the omron 8000-m to my upper arm unit and both readings match! Very accurate!
I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of this new wrist monitor in order to achieve some freedom after my mini strokes earlier this year. It is imperative I monitor by blood pressure throughout the day in order to prevent another episode! Thank you for this great product and the freedom it has brought me! The convenience of the monitor is unsurpassed!

Great Watch with blood Pressure feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great and it meets what I need. you can measure your blood pressure instantly. The only con is the size. It's big because of the cuff underneath the watch strap. Hopefully , it will be better in the next version. Overall great watch !

Too much expensive and i really dont recommend it. With this price i can get another watch has more features and do the same results... i really dont recommend it at all
