Just installed it and 5 days later it’s telling me I need a new one!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We’re sorry for the confusion with your Blue Pure 311i Max Particle + Carbon Filter. Your unit likely just needs a filter timer reset after the filter replacement. To do this, press and hold the Fan Speed button for about 15 seconds until all LEDs light up, then release. The red filter indicator will blink three times and disappear. We’ve also reached out directly to make sure everything is running smoothly.
This was very easy to replace. The demonstration video on the app shows all you need to do. I pulled off the used one, then slid on the new one; there are tabs marking the top so you don't put it on upside-down. No problems.
We just hit our master bathroom remodeled. We have a en suite bathroom. The demolished.the porcelain tile, tore out the tiled shower and floor, remove the bathtub and totally replaced a window, built a wall and put in new baseboards. We had changed our filter about three months prior and I thought for sure our Blue Air purifier would need a new filter after all that. I checked the app and we still had 60% left on our filter. That’s quite a task for a little air purifier. Like the little pink bunny for batteries, it just keeps on going.
I was a bit disappointed in the chemical smell when I first started using the new filter. It’s better now but took a few days to dissipate. A bit ironic given that it’s supposed to help the air be more pure..

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Blue Pure 311i Max Particle + Carbon Filter. We’re glad the odor has improved, though we understand it’s not ideal to notice any scent at first. As with any new product, a slight odor may be noticed that is inherent to the material. Running your air purifier and ensuring your space is ventilated will help dissipate the scent quickly. We appreciate your patience as it settled in and hope you're now enjoying fresher air as intended.
This was so easy to install but I can’t get my app to update filter indicator! Still looking to see how to update app. It still says 9% when I just installed it two days ago.
I purchased the blue air filter and my air purifier is still saying my filter is only 50% So I’m not a happy customer right now. I love the air purifier but why is my filter only saying 50% I just purchased it.

We are glad to hear that your love your 311i Max purifier! When replacing the filter in your 311i Max, the filter timer needs to be manually reset—otherwise, the display may still show the previous filter’s usage. To reset it, just press and hold the fan speed button for 15 seconds until the indicator resets. If you experience any issues, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly, we would be happy to help.
