Decent, but Disappointed

I've had this phone for about 2 months now, I had an S10 before this for the past 4 years. Here are my thoughts.
The Good: Battery life is incredible, lasts me 2 days at a minimum. Camera quality is a definite increase from the S10. Size of the phone is nice. 120hz display is a noticeable upgrade.
The Bad: Slow. Very slow. I know this phone isn't the flagship model, but I figured upgrading by 4 years would not bring me back in time but I was wrong. I do not play any games on my phone. I use it for Google searches, scrolling Instagram, taking pictures, calculator, not much.. so the speed shouldn't be a big deal, right? Well, this thing feels a 3g phone in the middle of nowhere... even in the middle of town with full signal this phone sometimes won't even load a Google search. It won't load Maps when I need it, and quite honestly has been very disappointing. It's not just the network that is slow either. Taking photos with the flash takes way too long to process and take. It's ridiculous. I was really hoping this was going to be a good phone since it has the ability to add an SD and is much cheaper than than the S23 but I was wrong. I expected more from Samsung.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In your settings you can adjust to a higher refresh rate. In your settings app, under display, and motion smoothness we recommend adjusting from standard to adaptive. Great phone for the price

As soon as warranty is over phone battery dies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to get a new phone last summer under warranty. I'm 2 months out of contract and my phone will not charge past 85%. Runs down in like 5 or 6 hours. Watch them. I'm sure they are running apps in the background to run my battery out.

Hello... We appreciate you taking the time to review the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G. Your thoughts are welcomed as continue to innovate and improve on the design and functionality of our products. If your phone won't charge past 85%, the protect battery setting is turned on. To turn off, please complete the following steps: Open the Battery and device care menu.
Navigate to and open Settings, and then tap Battery and device care.
Open More battery settings.
Tap Battery, and then tap More battery settings.
Turn off the setting for Protect battery.
Make sure the switch next to Protect battery at the bottom is turned off. The switch will be gray when it is turned off. If this option is turned on, your device will not charge past 85%.
