[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me tell you I was hesitant to purchase the Galaxy A54 5G at first because I was coming from the flagship Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G. But because of my finances and the need for something ASAP (my S22 had been damaged) I pulled the trigger on the A54 and couldn't be happier. Aside from the size difference, which isn't huge, I can hardly tell the difference from my S22 while browsing, emailing, or playing one of my slot games. And the three cameras still take REALLY GOOD pictures. Battery last all day and then some and has I think every adjustable setting of the flagship. Hands down 10/10. Cudos to Samsung for delivering a mid range device that has a top of the line device look and feel. I highly recommend the Galaxy A54 5G to any and everyone asking.

Battery life is really bad

I am a loyal Samsung products user for years. Im used to their products and dont like Apple at all and other brands i tried in the past were not up to par. I upgraded from galaxy S9 plus which is a very good phone I have for 5 years. i needed a 5 g phone to work with streaming apps and s9plus no longer supported with upgrades either. This phone lacks the back fingerprint reader that works better than the front one on this. The really upsetting thing with this phone is that battery drains within few hours . I mean even if is just iddle on standby and not doing anything. Not lasting for a day is not good. I went with this phone cause is cheaper than the better ones I can't afford and was hoping is better than S9 plus. Is not. Not the feel and shape and look either.

Great phone! Here's my experience

Upgraded from a Galaxy a12. The camera on the A54 takes great photos at night. The camera, however, is usually too bright, so some adjustments might be made, but the focus and clarity are top quality.
Although the processor isn't the fastest, I haven't noticed any problems with lag. I don't game on my phone, but for day to day use, it's just as good as a top tier phone to me. Although I didn't think 120hz was a big deal when I bought it, I've had no issues with seeing this phone, even in pure daylight. The adaptive brightness works well if you want a bright screen, but not so well if you prefer dimmed screens. The sound is one thing that took me totally by surprise. While using this phone to watch a video, I kept heariglng noises BEHIND me. It took me by surprise, but that video had a Dolby Atmos surround sound that works well with the built in speakers. The sound from the speakers themselves are on par (or better?) Than the flagship lines. The only problems I've had, is the face detection and on screen fingerprint sometimes fails both and I have to enter my PIN. This happens around %5 if I had to guess. I much prefer the older power button of my A12. No audio jack for my headphones is a major downside for me. I have to use a USB C to audio adapter, and those use DAC chips can liwer the audio quality. And last, and most important problem, is that there are multiple versions of this phone, and they don't all cover the same frequencies. Many cell providers offer a high/low combination. My version is only compatible with the high frequencies my provider offers. I sometimes have problems roaming, or indoors. There are other versions of my phone (A54) that supports both high and low, frequencies. Took me 2 months to find that out. Overall, it's a great phone. I am continually amazed at the quality of the camera, and is at least on par with other competitors flagship phones. I volunteer for my son's high school band, and others always compliment me on the shots I take and ask what phone this is. The Samsungs "eco sphere" is amazing. Overall, I am very satisfied

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a volunteer Emergency Responder. I use my phone extensively for receiving dispatches, navigation, and communicating with others in the organization. I also take a lot of scene photos for posting on our social media sites. This phone has been reliable and holds up to the multitude apps I have running. The photos and videos are clear even when taken in difficult lighting and conditions.

Upgrade from our LG G7 ThinQ and Stylo4

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We went with the A54 because it fit our budget and had the closest features to the new 23. So, far it is great upgrade from the LGs we had. Great screen size and picture. Runs smoothly. Fast loading of everything. We are still learning how to use all the features and setting up some things. Has an app right in the phone with a manual! Definitely recommend this phone for those who don't need all the features that the 23 has and are limited by a budget.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The price of the phone is great for the quality. The picture is clear for streaming. Photos are beautiful too. It was easy to set up and is keeping up with all of the apps I use. My work app (data collection) is working better than it was with my old phone. I also really love the look of my phone. It's beautiful. I ended up buying a clear case to show off the beautiful violet. I am already planning on buying another one for my BF.
