[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have has the s8active forever and unfortunately it was time for an upgrade. After reviewing many smartphones, looking for a rugged smart phone, I came back to samsung. The water resistance rating on the a54 and selection of rugged cases won my vote. I am more than pleased with the performance, especially the battery life plus performance. I almost went with the s24 but only chose the a54 because I am so rough on phones I didn't want to risk the investment. The durability however is amazing and I think I would have been great either way.

Love the picture Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the phone is great love the tap pay option, Galaxy AI added a special touch with assistant in my simple needs. Nice sleek design easy screen flow and loud speakers. The camera is like no other had a chance to take spectacular solar eclipse pictures I feel in Love. The only reason why I didn't place 5 stars is because phone still gets hot when using dual Screen just like the A52.

Very average phone with substandard camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone works and is fairly reliable so far - it's a year old. However, it is quite slow and each update makes it worse - often I try to click something but by the time the click registers, the icon has moved.
The Wi-Fi connectivity has been unreliable and sometimes the phone requires a reboot just to reconnect to my home network after I've been out.
The main camera is lacking in quality. I suspect that the problem is excessive noise in the sensor which results noise suppression causing a watercolor effect in photos that should be capable of being rendered cleanly by the pixel count. The other cameras are pretty dire and much worse in comparison (and their color rendering isn't even similar to the main camera).
The sound quality is quite good via speaker or earpiece and, unlike older phones from Samsung, people can actually hear you when you talk using it as a speakerphone. A minor miracle.
Battery life is great.
Samsung AI, there, I mentioned it... I suspect this phone would be far too slow to take advantage of such a feature.

Samsung Galaxy A54 has some great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my Samsung Galaxy A54. The first thing I noticed was the speed. It is fast enough that I can play music, watch videos, surf the web, and read documents - all at the same time!
I also love the Galaxy AI. It really can have a conversation, and speaks very well. I like that it can also perform searches, and is getting smarter every day it seems.
Other things that are important about the Galaxy A54 is that it has crisp, loud speakers for excellent audio, and the screen is large enough to fuction as a usable keywboard - which most phones lack.
Overall I think the Samsung Galaxy A54 is a Strong Buy and definitely worth the price.

A54 where are you?

Although I don't care for the quality of the pictures and its definitely slower than my s23 Plus. But I expected that so I'm not disappointed. Especially for the price I paid for it.
