Specs say awesome. Not so much in reality though

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched from an S21 to the A54 because the specs on it were very similar. I assumed I would have a very similar experience as I did with the S21, which I loved. The A54 is very laggy a lot of the time, which it shouldn't be given the amount of RAM it has in it. After the latest update to ONE UI 6.0 the keyboard is barely usable now. I can't type fast at all anymore. It seems to skip over half of the letters I type. The following sentence will be if I try to type at normal speed: "Th floin sntne IL b I I try to type atnoml sped". Doesn't quite come out the same does it? I would've highly recommended this phone after the first few weeks of having it but not anymore. Unless these issues are fixed with an update I may have to switch brands of phone entirely. This keyboard issue makes my phone unusable, unless I don't have to type anything, but the keyboard makes for about 80% of using a phone and it's features. That is my review. Please fix or lose a very loyal Samsung customer.

Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, linked below. If your phone's touchscreen is frozen or does not respond to touch, it doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong with your device. It could be something as simple as a faulty app or cracks in the screen causing the problem. Take a look at, "Galaxy phone or tablet's screen is frozen or responds too slowly" to conduct a few troubleshooting steps on your device to help resolve what you may be experiencing when you have some free time out of your day. If the keyboard isn't working, like if it's frozen or unresponsive, you'll want to get it up and running again as soon as possible. Using the default keyboard, clearing the cache, and checking for software updates are some of the things you can do to solve the issue. "Keyboard is not working on Galaxy phone or tablet" is also another troubleshooting article that you should check out when you can, linked below. The best budget phone with high build quality.

Love Samsung Galaxy, BUT

The "Home" app/link One Home 01. It freezes up and "requests " closing. This happens sometime several times a day.

I have Parkinson's Disease and the On/Off procedure is difficult for me because of my hands and fingers.
Sometimes my phone runs really Slow.
Thank You
STILL really love Samsung Galaxy phones. It's ALL I've ever purchased!!! Still have some of my "old" phones!!

Great phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this phone for a few months now and have love most everything so far. Still have a lot to learn about what it can do, i usually find thing by accident when i fall asleep with it. Because it picks up touch really easy it will some time text or call people when i don't mean to. I need to see if i can change the sensitivity on it. But it keeps people wondering or laughing. Takes awesome pictures, very clear and vivid. Can't wait to see what all it does.

Great Phone at a Reasonable Price

I luv this phone - it's fast, the screen is beautiful, and the cameras hand my photo and video needs without a problem! The only negatives I have is that the onscreen fingerprint reader is sometimes slower/ more picky than I would like, and the features sometimes act differently/need resetting after a UI update. But, overall, I would recommend this phone for someone who wants a good mid-range device.
