[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a great deal for a new Galaxy phone that won't break the bank this phone is for you. The picture quality is amazing being able to do touch ups on pictures to make them look more professional the gaming speed when playing games the picture quality is something you need to experience like playing on a big screen lots of storage space and the fact it comes in lavender color is even more special since my partner really enjoys the color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though it's a phone technically my A54 is so much more.I use it to stay up-to-date with all my friends,family,and trends via social media.I also use the magnificent camera to capture memories an make some amazing videos for not only memories but to showcase my skills thoughts an even a glimpse of not only mine but others pov an journeys.Which looks like it was shot by a expensive digital camera rather then a budget friendly phone like many in the Galaxy A series.I cant forget the home Theater also with amazing picture quality that alows me to experience High Definition movie experience i have with highspeed-performance for streaming or the memory that alows me to save my favorites an still have all the room for the apps an memories i require.Its everything i need an more my A54 everything you would want an get from a high powered computer budget friendly an pocket.

My new A54 5G

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After years using Motorola phones, I researched and decided to take a chance and purchased the Galaxy A54 5G. I could not be happier so far! I've had a Motorola Edge, a Moto Z4 and my latest was the 2022 version of the Moto G 5G. My A54 5G destroys all of the Motos by a large margin. I love the resolution, the ability to expand RAM, the quick response the phone has and the battery with your chip has AWESOME staying power. I am very happy to come back to Samsung\ I had a Galaxy S3 years ago.

Poor design

The camera's ability to read text from a photo is geniuse! I don't use my camera much, but the camera is top notch in functionality. That is the selling feature of this phone; sadly, the main reason someone would buy this phone is for the camera, yet it will probably be the first thing to break and most diccult feature to repair.
The A54 is horribly designed! The rear cameras stick out SEVERAL millimeters, with no built in back cover protection (the A53 does not have this detrimental flaw). The phone's fingerprint scanner is aqward, and only lets you save 3 fingerprints! Why only 3? The power and volume buttons sit too far down on the right side; it's feels like the phone was designed for a child's hand (and I wear a size small glove).
Also, the phone does not have a quick panel button for turning off data; you either have to turn on airplane mode--I don't want that-- or go to your settings, then open your connections, then go to your data usage, then your mobile data, then turn it off. Wow, what a pain!!!

(On a side note, the power and volume buttons are placed perfectly for a left handed person to use and love. But the fingerprint scanner would still be horribly placed in either scenario--left or right handed).
I switched from Samsung 9 to a competitor several years ago, and after owning a Samsung again for 2 days, I already regret it.
Apparently Samsung is way behind their competition on the gestures aspect of phone designs, because I was disappointed with the complete lack of shortcuts. (I'm looking at you, shake light, and data settings).
While setting up the phone, in the "tips" settings section, I was "shown" a couple features that looked cool, but weren't an option for the A54 (Why? Why do that Samsung? If it's not available, then whats the point in adding a tutorial?) --battery power sharing was the coolest item in the tutorial that isn't available...
All in all, I can't wait for a year to pass so I can justify buying a new phone from the competition. I thought my S9 was amazing when i bought it brand new, but after seeing what the competition has to offer, and then returning to Samsung for this dissapointment...I doubt that I'll be a returning customer...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

With regards to the camera lenses standing out from the device, we do always recommend protective cases for all devices to help protect from all accidental drops, and most cases will add the protection to the camera lenses as well. If you are not loving the fingerprint scanner you can opt for either a PIN, pattern, or facial recognition to unlock your device and use with other apps as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the phone as my main phone and my computer is my only device. The phone's battery lasts amazingly long time and it is pretty quick to charge. I enjoy gaming on it the cameras are amazing and the screen resolution is comparable to nothing I've ever seen it is amazing. I like the new operating system and the phone's pretty easy to use by all means this is a great phone the only problem I have is how much energy it takes when it charges but other than that if you're not running on a solar system or batteries it's a great thing. It's still a great thing if you are running on social systems or batteries but it does take a lot of energy to charge.
