Mom loves it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this gas range to replace one that was really outdated at my mom's house. She was specifically looking for a range that had as little digital control as possible. We started our christmas baking a few days after installation. Everything comes out perfect. There is even heat distribution, and no adjustments were needed to the temperature. The burners ignite first time every time providing a constant gas flow. The design is clean and modern.
Cleaning the oven is easy with a convenient steam clean option. The stovetop is easy to clean as well. The only thing i dislike is that there is nowhere to set any cooking utensils on top. However the iron grid is quite sturdy and looks great.
Unlike our last range, this unit does NOT have a broiler in the bottom. She personally never use it and like having extra storage space.
Overall, I would reccomend this range to anyone needing a new gas range. The range would look at home in any kitchen.

This range is aesthetically pleasing; however, there are features that are very unfavorable. First, as everyone has stated the blower fan is VERY LOUD and high pitched. Second the cast iron grates sit about 1.5-2 inches above the flame, which makes it inefficient. Third, without natural gas, the propane conversion, also makes the BTUs inaccurate/inefficient.I have had the range for about 6 months, it works, but it is not the gas range range that I grew up with. It is unfortunate that Frigidaire continues to sell this product.
