Cooling fan too noisy

I love the range, but the cooling fan is too loud. Our previous oven made in the med 1990's and it was a Kenmore, the last few years the igniter has been acting up, so we chose Frigidaire because of the great reviews, this one didn't have any reviews when we purchased a week ago. Our old oven didn't have a cooling fan, and this one is loud when baking. I read somewhere if you open the oven door after turning off the stove that the cooling fan will shut off sooner, which it does. Just wish the fan was quieter, I may call customer service.

Upgrade needed after 22 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven't had an appliance upgrade in years. So happy I chose this Frigidaire slide-in stove and gas range. The delivery guys were polite and worked efficiently setting in the new and moving out the old. I love the new top , how easy it is to clean, and five burners are the only way to go. Overall I have been quite pleased with this choice.

FAN NOISE IS REDICULOUS. i CAN'T EVEN HAVE A DINNER CONVERSATION UNTIL OVEN IS OFF AN THE FAN SHUTS OFF - DONT EVEN WANT TO USE THE OVEN. TRYING TO GET ASSISTANCE FROM WARRANTY IS USELESS AND THE OVEN IS BRAND NEW

Fan is too loud!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cooking and performance is great! However the fan is very loud and extremely annoying. Had I known, I would not have purchased this model and would not purchase again because of the fan running while oven is in use.

Noisy fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stove works fine. Nice array of different size burners. The high heat quick boil burner is especially useful. The volume on the timer is so low it's worthless unless you are right in the kitchen with the stove. There is no volume adjustment. The biggest drawback is the annoying whistling sound produced by the vent fan ( not convection fan; this model doesn't have convection mode.

Love Stovetop/Oven not so much

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I review a lot before making major purchases and I was very hesitant about purchasing a range that was relatively new and with very limited reviews, but I took a chance and purchased this range anyway. No fault of the manufacturer, but I am disappointed that the delivery driver/installer turned the oven on, left the manual inside of the plastic and left it inside of the oven and left. The plastic melted on the racks and inside the bottom of the oven. After trying to remove as much as the plastic as possible, I have a brand new range with a spot at the bottom of the oven from where I tried to clean it. Now to the range itself, I knew, I wanted a five burner range and since I was getting a new range, I kind of wanted a range with all the bells and whistles of a new range, such as convection bake and air fry, but then I realized all of those things wasn’t really needed. If I was rating, the stovetop itself, it would be five stars hands down. The burners are powerful and heats up and cooks food fast (or as fast as you would like). I absolutely love the center burner when using a griddle for cooking breakfast or grilled cheese. The two issues, I have with the range, the fan that comes on when using the oven, is annoyingly loud and stays on for awhile after the oven is turned off. So loud, that when using the oven and trying to talk on the phone, I have to leave the kitchen. Secondly, when I bake, I set the oven to 350 and because I don’t trust that the oven will be at temperature, I use an oven thermometer and although the oven beeps indicating the oven is at temperature, it normally takes at least another 15 minutes or so for it it actually come up to temperature and this happens with every use. Both the annoyingly loud fan and it takes so long for the oven to actually come up to temperature, makes this somewhat of a disappointing purchase.

Annoying and long running fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Many features of this stove I really like - the "cast iron" grates that span the entire stove top accommodates many pans. The knobs are large and work well. The bottom drawer is roomy enough to store pans side by side and slides on track smoothly. The oven heats well. Three downsides for me: 1. The fan is annoyingly loud and runs from beginning to long after oven is off. 2. The electric broiler is slower than gas. 3. The light on the clock could be dimmer. The annoying fan is why I won't recommend this stove.

Great Performing Range

-Oven heats up VERY QUICKLY. I would say we can reach 350-400deg F in less than 5mins of preheat time.
-Quick Boil - this burner definitely speeds up the time it takes to get a pot of water boiling
-Appearance and design is clean and simple
CONS:
-Cooling fan when running the oven is pretty loud and has a high-pitched tone to it. It can run for up to 20mins after shutting the oven down and can get quite annoying.
-Timer - setting the timer is a pain as there are only up/down arrows. Would have been nice to have a NumPad to go right to the correct time.
