Love this range. Real convenient controls and easy to operate. Love the appearance. Just purchased which was in included in my complete kitchen renovation. Infant all of my appliances are now are Frigidaire except my microwave drawer.

Despite some quirks, a good range for the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced an ancient Amana gas range, needed it before Thanksgiving as the old range was not working correctly. Not many options that met all the requirements, decided on this one. Assembly and installation was easy, and it was up and running quickly. Had to convert to Propane which was somewhat involved, but the instructions were clear. Stove burners work well, and the different options for heat output are nice to have with a variety of different sized pans. We cook with cast iron and stainless pans, and both work well here. The continuous grill over the entire range top was a change, but an improvement- it's great to be able to slide pans around onto different burners. We have not used the center burner yet, but plan to with a griddle. The oven seemed slow to cook initially, but for whatever reason after the first bake it has worked fine. Preheating is very fast- much faster than the old range.
Issues:
- Control touch pad is tricky to use. Especially the timer- holding the up button increments minutes by 1 until you get to 10 or 15 then it goes up by 15 minute increments quickly. It's easy to overshoot the desired time.
- The burners on top have upward-facing holes for the flame, which catch debris easily. Other style burners with a cap over them don't get dirty as easily. Also, cleaning requires removing the entire burner and lid. Not a big deal, but they are light and easy to knock off. I also worry about damaging the ignitor.
- When we got the range it was new, but had scratches on the bottom drawer face. They're not super noticeable, but it was disappointing to get a "new" range that was actually a "scratch and dent". This was shipped directly from Frigidaire.

Great bang for the buck!

This is perfect. Looks great, performs even better. And quite a bargain at about 1/3 the price of other options.
