Cooling Fan runs whenever oven is on and for 20 minutes after oven is turned off. This is NOT a convection fan. This is not a normal feature, only a Frigidaire problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very good range overall. The assortment of different size burners are handy for various size pans. They light instantly every time and have a good range of heat adjustment. The buttons for the front oven controls, timer, ect. work fine but require a very firm push to activate them. The oven heats quickly and bakes evenly.
I would have given this 5 stars except for a couple of things. The cooling fan in the rear of the range that comes on whenever the oven is used makes a high pitch squealing like noise which, although it is not very loud, can be annoying. I had a service technician come out to look at it to make certain the motor was not bad. He told me that he has had other calls about the same noise and is assured by the manufacturer that it is normal. The other issue I have with it is the shiny aluminum rings around the burners and the mat finish caps on the burners. The rings and caps are already getting discolored by splatters from normal cooking and, I have not found a way to clean them.
All in all, it is a very capable range for the price and I am satisfied with its performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, my wife and I love the looks of the new range and it works as it should. The oven seems to be on temperature and the flames are right on but the drawback has been. The fan comes on when the oven does and it has a very high pitch “Annoy” whine. I’m not sure if this fan is truly needed, It’s annoying can be hurt throughout the whole house. I would love to disable that fan.

The Oven fan WHISTLES loudly and there is nothing you can do about it!

When you turn on the oven the fan WHISTLES LOUDLY
I had a repair person come out and they said there is nothing you can do, it is a design flaw and Electrolux knows about it and cannot do anything either.
DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

As close to the basics as possible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m tired of spending lots of money on fancy ranges with all kinds of bells and whistles. I wanted one that just did what it was supposed to. This is as close as you can get to getting back to simple ranges that don’t have a million things to break on them. It does have a lock function to not accidentally turn the oven on with the front control panel and the burner dials have to be pressed in to turn them on, so I have not personally had any accidental turn ons. It’s a very nice looking range (black one) and works very well so far. Absolutely no complaints for the price.
