PURCHASED BOTH my Speed Queen washer and dryer about a month ago. I couldn’t be happier!!! I had so much trouble with my previous washer that was only 3 years old. GREAT DECISION to switch to SPEED QUEEN!

We replaced a 22 year old Whirlpool Gold laundry pair with Speed Queen’s top models. It’s likely we won’t use the steam feature much, but it is there if needed. The dryer is a little louder than the Whirlpool but does its job of drying clothes. Two immediately noticeable complaints were the end of cycle signal not being loud enough (at top volume) and the side opening door. The Whirlpool opened from the top which provided a “shelf” which prevented from dropping clothes on the floor. We miss that. Hopefully these appliances will be as reliable as they are advertised.

I bought my Speed Queen Dryer about one month ago. Both my prior washer/dryer were bought about 18 years ago. According to friends, any kind of new appliance bought recently will not last more than 5 years. How can this be allowed? Friend who had to replace recently-bought dryer recommended Speed Queen. Dealer showed me many different brands and his description of Speed Queen reminded me of my friends' description. So I've gone with Speed Queen. Hopefully it will last the rest of my life! And, by the way, I absolutely love the mister part of the dryer. It will save me lots of time...hoping to iron not so many pieces of wrinkled clothing!

This dryer is simply the very best dry that I have ever known. It removes hair, is tremendously quiet and is extremely effecient. If you don't own a Speed Queen you're just fooling yourself. You will own several dryers in your lifetime or you can buy one of these. With a standard life of 20-25 years of strong use imagine what you will get if you baby your dryer? Hard to imagaine isn't it.......?
