Excellent Perfomance

Lots of different drying options, and they all perform well. We have have noticed for the Auto-Sensing to work well and get clothes dry or near dry its important to make Sure that you are drying similar items such as towels with towels, or sheets with sheets and not to mix in a heavy towel with light Perm Press items or synthetics since the Auto-Sensing will most likely shut the dryer off prior to the towel being dry. The Steam Refresh is amazing, it works perfectly to remove light to moderate wrinkles in many different types of clothes.
Machine is quite, the "Extended Tumble" option works as advertised, we really haven't had any issues with the DR7004WE in the almost 3 months we have owned it. So at this point we are very happy with the dryer and Speed Queen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was a little apprehensive about having to learn a new machine and all the options but this machine is very easy and works great. The laundry is done in no time and it comes out beautifully.

Speed Queen is the best on the market for your laundry needs. Made in the USA which says it all. There is not one single piece on their machines that is cheaply made.
Their machines are built to last . You won’t have to worry about your machine moving - damaging your floor or walls. No need to use brackets to hold them in place. The weight of their machines will tell you they are quality made.
From their low end to high end machines, nothing is compromised. All are made with the same quality parts.
So whichever you choose you will be very pleased.

I really like my new Speed Queen washer and dryer set. They are quiet and very efficient.
I would have preferred a "full" dry cycle built in.

DR7004WE Dryer

This thing is so much more quiet and efficient than our old GE dryer, which at times sounded like it had a bowling ball inside. No vibrations or noise on the outside, just hums along doing its thing. We didn't connect the steam function as we felt it was an unnecessary gimmick. Although not inexpensive we feel it and the washer are well worth the cost, and so far are very pleased.
