Previously I had to replace my washer as others just didn’t seem to hold up n now I have a Speed Queen which I love! My dryer now died so it was obvious I would get a Speed Dryer which I love just as much and I am certain both products are going to out live me unlike other companies which only last 5 to 7 years and I am a single senior citizen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’m so excited I won’t ever have to buy another dryer! I was extremely frustrated with having to replace my washer and dryer every 5 years due to inferior, “disposable” appliances. Speed Queen is by far the best appliance out there. I’m 100% happy!

Love my new SP set!

Had been watching videos and reviews for over a year. When a friend was looking talked her into SP and she got hers before me. So far I am totally thrilled.

I'm sorry I chose the Speed Queen - DR7004WE

I purchased the Speed Queen - DR7004WE believing I would be able to have more adjustable choices and the steam function seemed like a great idea. Little did I know that it needed to have a hose connected to a cold water line. I thought that the steam function was dealt with the dampness of the clothes in the dryer. When the appliance dealer hooked up the machine with their hose they didn't tighten it quite enough and there may have been a problem with the hose but it leaked. I only do laundry once a week in a room that my husband mainly uses. I did laundry twice in three weeks before I saw the black and pink mold on the wall behind the dryer. What a mess and it took three weeks to get a contractor in to clean it up and dry it out and repair it. The applicant dealer wouldn't be helpful, their insurance has been any better and I'm still waiting on this claim. We paid out of pocket so our insurance wouldn't ding us even though it wasn't our fault in any way. I'm disappointed in the whole machine. It isn't as easy or variable as I thought it was and I would have been a whole lot better off with the less expensive one. The appliance store was less than helpful through this whole thing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best machine we ever owner, we purchased a washer

After raising seven children we had wished we had a Speed Queen back then.
We love this dryer and it's ability to get wrinkles out of our clothes. The stainless steel drum and bright light make life quite easier. The lint trap is up front for easy cleaning access.

Very disappointed.

We purchased the Speed Queen dryer and washer because we were told they were the best and most reliable on the market. The washer needed service after less than a month and the cold water valve had to be replaced. The dryer quit working after six weeks. The control panel needed to be replaced. I wish I could have retuned them. We paid twice as much for these compared to other brands expecting not to have isssue. We were very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
