Just moved into a brand new house and purchased Speed Queen again after having a pair for 8 years with no problems whatsoever. The new models are even better.

I purchased the matching dryer to the washer. I did not even need a new dryer, but when buying the washer, I decided to buy the pair. I am happy with controls and like the "steam" idea.

Good dryer, but have concerns

My dryer dries fairly well. It does take another "go" sometimes with larger loads. The sense dry setting leaves them damp sometimes. No big deal...but the biggest concern when the unit starts, it makes a bumping noise (like an older worn out dryer does sometimes) and vibrates like it has a square tire. After a couple of minutes it does smooth out, but I am glad I have the long warranty. I just don't think a new dryer should go "bump" bump" "bump" when new. The fit and finish is fine. But there are things that need a little more refinement in "feel" to match the washer.

The sensor cycles never seem to get the load all dry, have to do one sometimes multiple additional cycles.

I am very pleased with the dryer. Heat settings seem to be accurate and I like that I have multiple choices depending on the fabric being dried.
