Switch to gas

We opted for the Frigidaire Professional Series gas range for our townhome kitchen. While we would have preferred an induction range, we have not been disappointed with the gas performance. However, after considering the clearance required for a gas range, we opted for a low profile microwave to provide safer access to the rear burners.

Grills are cheap and the knobs are hot when oven on.

The stove is good looking and performs well. However, the temperature controls on the front are so hot when the oven is on that they could burn you. Also the grills are cheap, they scratch when you drag a pot across them. They are not smooth and are hard to clean because of this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The cleaning instructions for the stove are found on pages 40-45 in the owner’s manual which is viewable here: https://na2.electroluxmedia.com/Original/Electrolux/Electrolux%20Assets/Document/Complete%20Owners%20Guide/English/809216807en.pdf. It is normal for the exterior of the range to be warm while the oven is active. -Chris

Got this a couple months ago and I love the all gas range and oven as well as next to no electronics to fail. All mechanical switches with the exception of the clock and light

Front panel is a disaster

Have had this range for a few years. The front touch panel has never really worked well and offers next to no useful functions, especially compared to the competition.
Now the panel has flashed an error code and won’t allow me to run the oven at all.
Looking online it appears the part is not even available to buy for replacement. Hopefully this isn’t the case or that really nice looking yet functionally pathetic stove will be headed to a landfill.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the Look of this gas stove!

We bought this a month ago and absolutely love how it cooks our food. Love the extra burner in the middle and the breakfast grill in the centre. I am concerned about it scratching but so far we are being super careful with it. Oven is a dream, especially the air fryer and conventional oven feature. Hope it looks this clean for years to come.
