Air fryer and knobs

After much deliberation I chose to buy the professional stove with the air fryer, and after cooking with the air fryer and my house filling up with smoke and burning my fingers on the knows trying to turn it off, I'm not too happy with my purchase. You can tell that these were not tested in the lab before being put in homes of people with kids. I should be returning it but I don't think the store would return it.

Meat Probe Doesn't Work

We have owned this for just over a year. We loved it when it first arrived (which was super late due to covid/suppy chains etc). It is beautiful, cooks great. My kids love the griddle option. I love cooking gravey on the middle burners. So far it has been great; however, the meat prob does not work. I have followed all instructions, turned it "on" in the settings and it won't work as the instructions list. I then turned the oven to "on" and it would detect the meat probe, so I set the temperature on it, then set the oven to "Convection Roast", then set the temperature and it seemed to work, but then it would shut off after around 30-60 seconds. This is frustrating as it should work as explained; however it doesn't. So we actually have no idea if it even works. I ended up moving our roast over to the wall oven, and it works as expected. Dissapointed with this. I have searched and googled and cannot find a soltion .... So if the meat probe is important to you, then I cannot reccomend it. If that doesn't matter, then it is a great oven.

Initial Review - two weeks old

When we finally installed the range due to renovation delays, we found that the storage drawer had a flaw and would not close completely on the left side. We reported it to the place we purchased from and they initiated a repair call. We are still awaiting contact from the repair center. The next problem we discovered and this is critical, is that the knobs all heat up excessively, to the point you get a burn touching them. We honestly believe this is a serious design flaw and safety issue which will be recalled by Frigidaire. Until this is rectified, we will not recommend anyone buy this range. We hope to update this review when the technician comes to clear up the issue with the drawer and we show him the knobs overheating. will post pictures when renovations are complete.

Front knobs get hot

I love the high end look of this stove. It looks and feels higher in quality than comparable brands. So far the oven and stove top are very easy to use, quiet and cook beautifully. I want to keep this stove, but my issue is with the knobs getting hot when the oven has been on for about an hour at 425 degrees. They’re borderline manageable unless you open the oven to rotate and flip food. Then the knobs are too hot to touch. It is also true the stove increases in 25 degree increments and this model does NOT have steam clean option despite the model number suggesting it does. If the heated knobs can be addressed, I will love this stove completely.

Love the consistent way it cooks

I really like the quality of baking/roasting this range can do. Unfortunately the oven quit on Christmas Eve (it's only four months old) and we are still wauting for warranty service.
Overall a great appliance though, I hope this is just a "blip"!
