This was not my first gas range so I knew what to expect and I had thought that I did my research before buying this range when looking into a high end unit; boy was I wrong. It was a huge disappointment when I went to use it the first time. You would expect that a range advertised as "professional" would be just that. It could not be further from the truth. As I do a lot of baking I was utterly disappointed to find that you cannot set your temperature by anything other than by increments of 25; so I cannot set it to any other temperature, say 365F, if I wanted. This is “professional” ? I cannot understand why this is the case as one can clearly observe the digital temperature readout increase by single digits. Then there is the timer - I would have thought that you could enter in your time directly however that is not the case. One has to waste valuable time by physically pressing down each time for time from the numbers one to ten after which time the numbers then go up so fast, by increments of five after which then I often have to go back and decrease it to my desired temperature, again one digit at a time. And why is a 24 hour clock not an option as I had on my previous ranges? I am not a techni but these sure sound like they should be simple fixes especially in this digital age. Perhaps a mother board issue(?) which could be an easy replacement fix for those of us currently owning this range? Then there is the issue with the knobs on the front which get so hot that I can barely touch them. This was never an issue with my previous range having similar front knobs. I need to keep my grandchildren away from the kitchen. The manual could provide better instructions as to how to insert and remove the slide out rolling rack as this is not an easy task to achieve. So very disappointed and angered that I spent so much money on a range with such limitations. The cooktop is the one bright spot with this “professional” range.

Horrible range and company

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Range lost all electricity after only 8 months. the company takes their time trying to fix it and doesn’t care if you go with out being able to cook for months. I will never buy Frigidaire or Electrolux again. Horrible!! It’s been 3 weeks and they still haven’t fixed it or replaced it. I can’t cook for my children.

Gas Range Review

Works great. Noticed pitting on range burner head, clearly defective from the factory. Customer service would not replace because they said that that was not covered under my warranty. BUYER BEWARE

The bubbling in the finish on the burner head may be due to trapped moisture evaporating off; please ensure the burner heads are dried completely after washing before the cooktop is used again! Great oven but unreliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We moved into our new house less than two years ago (so outside one year warranty) and we’ve already encountered issues with the oven where it will not heat. We’ve absolutely loved this oven but cannot recommend something that won’t even last for two years.

Like the appliances, but hard to clean

Brand new -cooling fan broken

Now have to wait for the part and have it replaced.
