Happy, but no so happy!

I bought the Gas Range Professional Air Fry Range 3 months ago. Has some really nice features, love the air fry and middle burner. However the stainless steal top scratches no matter how careful you are when removing and putting back the grills, this shouldn't happen, basically you can't move them or it will scratch. The other thing that I really don't like is that the knobs heat up to the point that you'll burn your fingers. That is quite dangers especially with kids.

It looks like the grates are designed to rest flush against each other and against the sides of the cooktop recess. So, we recommend carefully aligning the grates into or out of the cooktop recess when moving them. This way, they shouldn’t come into contact with the cooktop’s surface. While the exterior of your range may become warm when the oven reaches high temperatures, the knobs should always be safe to touch. Stay Away bad product!!!

Ordered this stove, took 7 months to get, used it 2 months, has been broken not usable for the last 3 weeks, smudgeproof not really, I also have a refrigerator which this one is really smudge proof, definately not the same finish for this really expensive stove, keep your money buy another brand!!!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

Bought Frigidaire Professional gas range Apr 1, installed Apr 9, not working Apr 10, service repair Apr 12 only to find the Control Panel crapped out on the first try & needs replacing but the kicker is it's out of stock. So I have a new range in my kitchen that has yet to work ... Can it get any better. Anyone at Frigidaire willing to stand behind their product to offer quick resolution PLEASE!

Looks great but massive issues

We bought this gas range last year after reno'ing our kitchen. Within the first week it crapped out and the tech confirmed it needed to be replaced under warranty, we went without a range for 3 weeks waiting on a replacement and when the replacement came the oven racks were rusty. They replaced the racks and the unit was working well for about 6 months, over the past couple months we have occasionally had the oven turn off when it was heating up and a symbol come up related to the heat probe, well yesterday they entire thing crapped out and gave us an F16 error that appears to be an issue with the control board. So here we go again, less than a year since we purchased the new range and looking at yet more significant repairs/replacement.....I thought Frigidaire made good products, especially the professional line!
Also, as others have mentioned, the knobs get extremely hot if the oven is on for any length of time.
Looks great but terrible quality, and not reliable
NOT HAPPY!! DO NOT BUY!

Very disappointed

I have had my stove for just over a year now. As much as I did my research ahead of time I have sure learnt about other things to look for. First of all I’m awaiting my 4th service call have had the oven rack break, crooked element in the middle, oven suddenly shuts itself off and now intermittent beeping but no codes. Overall the quality of the stove is lacking the surface is already scratched up quite bad the burner covers are marked up. And boy those oven knobs get extremely hot when using the oven. Next oven I would be looking for lights on burner knobs so you know it is on by looking at it. The clock and timer is a huge pain to set. Overall just not that impressed. Too bad cause I spent a lot of money and will likely be looking at another manufacturer in the near future.

Professional in name only

After using this gas stove and range for many months I can honestly say it is not professional at all. The range knobs get very hot when extended use. The timer is very rudimentary with having to count up to set the time and not at all very responsive nor sensitive at times. Being a "Professional" appliance one would think that the temperature of the oven should be infinitely adjustable but can only be set in 25 degree increments. At the very least it should be adjustable in 5 deg increments. That would make it more professional. The cooling fan in the oven is noisy right from the start and when it runs to cool the oven it has an annoying buzz to it. Surely it could be quieter? The oven controls when set can easily to moved just by brushing up against them. A "Professional" stove would also have a steam function for baking bread and this unit seems to have forgotten that. The term Professional is a marketing term/hype where the actual
unit fails to live up to the word "Professional".

Safety concern

We have a real concern regarding the safety of our gas range. If you accidentally turn on anyone of the burner knobs past the “LITE” indicator it will turn the gas on without igniting. Scary!! This has happened to us on a number of occasions and our granddaughter has turned on the gas. Further if on the lowest setting it can very easily blow out and continue spewing gas. Today my wife accidentally brushed up against the knob and left the kitchen and 20 minutes later I came into the house and it was full of gas. Fortunately we got it turned off and windows and doors open. This could have very easily turned into tragic explosion. There is something wrong with this design or a failure with some sort of safety mechanism that should assure the gas can not be left on if not ignited within a few seconds. Pls respond. This could be a real problem! Pls contact me.
